Our Open Water Diver course provides you with the certification you need to dive anywhere in the world.
After certification, you can purchase or rent scuba diving equipment, go on diving trips and vacations, have your scuba tanks filled, and achieve advanced levels of scuba training.

SSI Open Water Diver Certification Course
$225.00 - up to 6 classroom sessions, up to 5 pool training sessions, 2 days of open water training dives
 Includes a manual, training DVD or video, dive tables and a student registration folder.
 - A deposit of $75.00 is required at registration.
 - Balance payable before the first registration/classroom session.
 - By the second pool session, you will need a mask, adjustable fins, dive boots, snorkel and logbook.
 - During your open water training dives you are responsible for any admission costs, air fills, and your scuba equipment package.
 - In the event of a withdrawal before your first classroom session, class fees minus deposit will be refunded.
 - If you transfer to another class, and begin a new Scuba Venture class within one year, your deposit will not be forfeited.
 - Two photographs for your scuba certification card and student folder are required.
 - A $25.00 make-up fee will be charged for any classroom or pool sessions that are missed.

Basic snorkeling equipment package
$125.00 to 225.00 and up - 10% discounted price for Scuba Venture students.
  The cost of your basic equipment package is separate because you may already own the appropriate equipment.

  - Scuba mask
  - Adjustable fins
  - Dive boots
  - Snorkel
  - Logbook

Equipment rental package for Open Water Training Dives
$85.00 - Discounted price for Scuba Venture open water students.
   Equipment rental is separate because you may either purchase or already own the appropriate scuba equipment.
   When you rent a basic equipment package from Scuba Venture for your open water training dives, you are provided
   with two full 80 cu ft scuba tanks.  During your open water training dives you are responsible for additional air-fills.
   Once you complete your diving, it is not necessary to refill your rental tanks before you return them to us.
   Equipment rental package includes:
  - Buoyancy compensator (BCD)
  - 7mm full-body wetsuit, with hood and gloves
  - Regulator set with safe-second regulator, depth and air pressure gauges
  - Two 80 cubic foot scuba tanks
  - Weight belt with weights
 
Entrance fees for Open Water Training Dives
Dutch Springs: $32.00 per day - two days total, plus scuba tank air-fills
Willow Springs Park: $25.00 per day - two days total, plus scuba tank air-fills
Entrance fee is separate because you may choose to do your training dives with a dive center other than Scuba Venture. Dutch Springs and Willow Springs Park have air-fill stations for scuba tank air-fills.  

Private and semi-private classes and financing options are available.
